I tried this terminal nighttime and liked it so much I'm making it again this evening! I did however exercise some things differently. I used a combination of fresh and thawed frozen vegetables and added some onion. I sauteed 1/4 of an onion in the skillet first with ane teaspoon of garlic ability. So I tossed in the veggies. For the sauce I used but a small corporeality (approximately an 1/viii of a teaspoon) of garlic and I added some black pepper. When I make this over again tonight I'chiliad going to add together a small amount of spicy mustard to the sauce. Though the sauce is good on it'southward own I personally think it could use a kick. I as well recall adding water and cornstarch or flour to the sauce and letting information technology cook until thickened (rather than adding it before serving) would besides add a little something also. This is perfect pared with jasmine rice, tofu, and an egg curl!

Wow this was a big hit tonight!! I did change it a fleck, sauteed chicken in olive oil with garlic and ane onion, then added the frozen veggies and sauteed them till tender and stirred in the sauce (used crunchy peanut butter for added crunch). Put information technology all over white rice and served! But yummy! Will utilize brown rice next time! This is a must endeavor recipe, with near everything you demand in your pantry! A+++
03/13/2013
Super easy way to spice up frozen stir fry veggies. Whole family enjoyed.
07/xiv/2013
YUM! I doubled this recipe since I was also using chicken and rice, and it was sooooo good! I didn't accept chocolate-brown carbohydrate, so I used regular white sugar and it still tasted amazing. I got then many compliments on my nutrient. At first when I mixed the sauce together It looked disgusting (lol) and I was hesitant to mix it in with the nutrient, but I'm glad I went ahead and did it, because it was fantastic. The dish looked like regular chinese nutrient with the sauce. 'Twas amazing. Requite it a endeavor.
07/29/2013
This was delicious! I doubled the sauce and added approximately a cup and a half of twenty-four hour period sometime brown rice. I besides added a tin can of drained water chestnuts and crushed red pepper. I call back this is going to become a weekly staple! I admittedly loved that I could used frozen veggies and typical household ingredients to make this ethnic-fashion dish.

This volition be a new get-to recipe in our firm! I gotta admit- I did modify up the ratio of the sauce. More peanut butter and more than brown saccharide, but only because I favor very sweet asian dishes and sauces. I as well added stir fry beef equally a poly peptide. The actual ratios in the recipe would have been fine, as well. One tip- when y'all add together the frozen veggies at that place is some wet that collects at the bottom of the pan. You tin either drain that before adding the sauce for a more thickly coated stir fry, or you tin can leave it and accept a more liquidy sauce that soaks nicely into some white rice! This is probably the easiest repast I've ever made. Really, it's easier than hamburger helper or even DRIVING to a restaurant! And for such a simple, affordable recipe that requires several ingredients that I almost ever have on hand, its flavors were interesting and quite complex. I will be making this once again, 100 times over. Delicious!!!
06/21/2013
I was looking for a simple side dish to go along with the Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi that I made (Also on this site and totally awesome). I am usually a bit of an All recipes snob. If it doesn't have at least 100 reviews I pass it up. And no movie?! I won't fifty-fifty glance at it. I'g so glad I did because this is now a staple in our dinner line up. It'south really piece of cake and full of flavor. I think side by side time I may add together beefiness like another reviewer did and make this a principal dish!
06/11/2013
Great! I cooked footing beef outset, then added it to the vegetables earlier stirring in the sauce. It tasted amazing and was super like shooting fish in a barrel. What a great recipe that uses ingredients I almost ever have on hand! I volition definitely make this over again.
07/08/2013
This recipe came out so good the outset time, I had to endeavor it again the side by side week. I love how like shooting fish in a barrel it was to put together, and that I already had all of the ingredients in the kitchen. Instead of adding it to the vegetables, I mixed it into the craven. The flavor is phenomenal regardless of whether you add together it while the chicken is cooking or off the heat.
01/06/2014
Very good recipe, quick and easy. Although, I thought the garlic powder was way too much and I honey garlic. I will half the one thousand powder adjacent time. Volition try adding water chestnuts next fourth dimension.

So easy and good! I doubled the sauce and added craven leftover from a rotisserie.
04/20/2013
Great recipe! I had all the ingredients on hand and information technology was and so elementary to do. Side by side time I would increase the corporeality of veggies because at that place was enough of flavor and throw in some cooked chicken or shrimp.
12/17/2013
This recipe was actually tasty! I fabricated no modifications and my 3-year-old gobbled information technology upwards. The leftovers fifty-fifty reheated well. I served information technology over white rice.

03/11/2014
I cannot stand frozen veggie stir fry. My husband made information technology, I rolled my eyes, sat downwardly to dinner without much enthusiasm, and was quite surprised. I dearest this sauce and then much that we have stir fry almost weekly and since I don't have access to frozen veggies anymore (we alive in Costa Rica now) I even become through all the attempt to chop fresh veggies for it. We also serve the stir fried veggies with the sauce over rice. My husband likes his with craven so we make that for him to add on the side. Makes a actually easy meal for families that are part vegetarian and part carnivore! I agree that you lot need to double the sauce for a family of iv.
08/23/2013
Followed a few tips & added what we had, but the bones recipe is KILLER! Doubled the sauce recipe, since I was adding sliced, leftover 'Roasted Pork Loin' (from AR) & some of its jus. Cooked information technology in a 'stir-fry pan', after sauteing minced garlic & the leftover pork in EVOO. So followed the recipe. Served information technology over brown rice & my married woman said, "We never need to gild Asian delivery food once more!" Tin can't wait to try it with chicken & shrimp!!!
04/15/2013
Tried this tonight for something unlike and I loved information technology! Fifty-fifty my family unit loved it. I volition admit, adjacent time I'll cut back on the garlic a piffling fleck. I don't know if information technology's the brand I use but it was very garlicy. Overall, a good recipe and I will be making information technology once more.
04/30/2015

07/05/2013
This is an astonishing recipe for anyone who enjoys Thai nutrient. It is well deserving of the 5 stars. To satisfy my personal taste i added some cayenne pepper for some heat and used fresh vegetables. I would take uploaded a picture but information technology didn't stay on the plate that long. Amazing!
11/05/2013
Easy! I changed information technology up a fleck: started with chopped onions and then added minced garlic. In my sauce, I additional up the spice with some sriracha sauce (to taste). I also added some chicken I broiled with cayenne pepper, paprika, reddish pepper, and common salt/pepper. Yum! I would venture to add together less peanut butter next fourth dimension. I read it equally tablespoons! No wonder. Still good though!
02/23/2014

02/03/2014
This turned out great. I was a scrap apprehensive of the peanut butter, simply information technology made for a squeamish sauce and the consistency seemed just right. My two year old fifty-fifty liked it. In lieu of all frozen vegetables, I used an array of fresh and frozen vegetables: contrasted bell peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, frozen peas. I also added some sesame tempeh. All in all, this was a really easy recipe and it took very little fourth dimension. I likewise added crushed peanuts. As for the rice, I've fallen in love with organic, microwavable rice (ready in ninety seconds), which cuts total time (and effort) significantly. Cheers!!
06/28/2013
This is a very forgiving recipe... I did information technology all incorrect... I put the oil and sauce ingredients in get-go and and then threw the frozen veggies in on top. Information technology still tastes neat. I added a few shakes of powdered ginger in in as well.
09/03/2013
I was excited to attempt this, since information technology is fabricated with regular frozen mixed vegetable. It was very simple, and I thought it was a nice change. But my husband and daughter were not impressed. I wonder if anyone has an easy suggestion to liven it upward a fleck?

01/08/2014
Awesome! Kids loved it. Quick and easy. Versatile.
10/13/2016
Also doubled recipe, added a can of pineapple, chicken, onion, zucchini, cayenne pepper, dijon mustard. Bully because of bones on-paw ingredients, ease of prep, and pretty good taste. For me did not come up out also sweet or garlicky. My son and I both added some soy sauce at the tabular array.... Would similar to endeavor with the cornstarch proffer. However needs some zing.
12/06/2015
Instead of olive oil, I used sesame seed oil. i sauteed fresh garlic, added fresh broccoli and carrots, and steamed them until tender. I so pushed the veggies to the sides of the pan to brand room in the center to rapidly scramble a few eggs and add together to the mixture. i so added the sauce and leftover turkey breast from thanksgiving and stirred until warm. succulent!

I recommend low sodium soy sauce and perhaps a flake less garlic pulverisation, but otherwise this recipe is perfect!
04/14/2016

08/27/2020
This is really tasty. After my commencement time following the recipe, I've fabricated a couple changes that accommodate our preferences - but it's easy and succulent west/o any changes. Chicken was great in this, over white rice; increased the sauce by 50%. Yum! Keeper.
03/28/2021
Really good basic recipe using things y'all already have in the pantry. I had existent garlic then I used that in the sauce instead of pulverization.
